<strong>TecnoGen at “Cultura e Motori” 2026: innovation, motoring history and future scenarios</strong>
On Friday 22 and Saturday 23 May, at the Campus Caserma Neve of the Politecnico di Milano’s Territorial Campus in Piacenza, the 2026 edition of “Cultura e Motori” took place, this year dedicated to “Vespa: an 80-year journey”.
The event celebrated one of the most recognisable icons of Italian design and mobility, tracing its technical, stylistic and cultural evolution. A journey through our country’s motoring history, connecting tradition, ingenuity and innovation.
Among the most significant moments of the programme was the presentation of the Barsanti and Matteucci engine, considered the first working internal combustion engine: an extraordinary symbol of Italy’s decisive contribution to the development of energy and motion.
Renato Bruno also took part in the initiative, bringing the experience of TecnoGen, a company within the Bruno Generators Group, to a discussion focused on engines, sustainability, new technologies and future scenarios.
The participation in the event represented an important opportunity for dialogue between technical culture, industrial heritage and a vision for the future. Looking at history not as a destination, but as a source of inspiration to keep innovating, is one of the guiding principles behind the Group’s evolution in the energy sector and technological solutions for mobility and industry.
